Synopsis
In 1930s Germany, Friedrich Karl Nischwitz was a student at a military school for the Hitler Youth. After 4 years of beatings and humiliation by his classmates and elders, Fred finally escaped to the USA. Friedrich Karl Nischwitz became Fred Curtis, a US citizen, who fought against the Nazis during World War II. After the war, Fred embarked on his greatest achievement, to become one of the founding fathers of the modern day computer hard drive. This is Fred's story.

'MO ABOUT TOWN' Episode 2:  TAANG! Records
"MO ABOUT TOWN" showcases the undiscovered gems of Southern California that relate to the punk rock and alternative scene.

Episode 2:  "Mo About Town visits Taang Records".
 The legendary Taang Records spearheaded the US punk rock movement in the early 80s and is home to many alternative and punk rock bands today.  Their record label and record shop have an enormous worldwide following.  Episode 2 is complete and will be released shortly.

Mo will be making a personal appearance at Sierra Madre Books on Sunday, June 22nd at 3pm.  He will be reading excerpts from his book of poetry "Smiling Til I Break".

'Mo About Town' and 'Hitler Youth' accepted to 2007 Action on Film Festival
'Mo About Town' and 'My Favorite Hitler Youth' have been accepted to the 2007 Action on Film Festival in Long Beach, California. 

The festival takes place on July 27-29, 2007 at the Long Beach Entertainment and Convention Center, 300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA  90831.  Click here for more info about the festival.

Mo has signed a non-exclusive worldwide distribution deal with OUAT! Media to distribute his documentary short "My Favorite Hitler Youth:  Just Like You and Me" and Episode 1 of his TV show "MO ABOUT TOWN".
